Self-Curfew and Fight Against COVID-19.

The whole globe is witnessing the biggest scathing attack on humanity. In the last more than half a century, the world has not seen such an enormous, more intensified and disastrous attack of deadly and fearful virus called COVID-19. More than 150 nations have witnessed the untimed death of more than 10000 people so far in the last two months at a time when the advancement and supremacy of science and technology are the most pressing subject matters for nations to illustrate their dominance and power.
The complete choking of health care system of even the most advanced and nations having the global best health care facilities, including the US, China and almost whole Europe is the classical example of the mockery of scientific advancement and the invincibility of COVID-19.
The message is very loud and clear; no existing medicine is available so far that can bring humanity out of this pandemic. The only best solution is the natural and self-therapy in the form of avoiding physical closeness in the best possible manner. And today the splendid exhibition of self-curfew and clapping being at their home by 1.40 billion Indian is the perfect example of our determination to fight against this deadly and fearful virus.
My dear Indian fellows, our health care system is one of worse in the world. The doctor per 1000 people ratio is even less than one (0.62) as compared to 4.125 in Germany, 2.554 in the USA, 3.227 in France, 1.49 in China, 3.374 in Australia. There are only and only one million (10,22859) registered allopathic doctors against 140 crore population in India.
There are only 7 hospital beds per 10,000 people against the global medium of 27 beds per 10,000. And there is less one bed per 1000 people as compared to the global average of 2.5 beds and Italy, the US, China have 3.2, 2.8, and 4.3 hospital beds per 1000 people respectively.
The distribution of these hospitals and doctors are highly skewed towards tier one and tier two cities.
Now imagine, if only 1% of Indians get affected with it, what will happen? The whole health care system in India will be choked. Seeing the available number of doctors and beds in whole India, how and where this more than one crore (10.4 million,1%) Indian will be provided the required medical facilities?
Seeing the intense population density of India, the possibility of spreading this virus among more than one percent of the population cannot be avoided at all.
In our country, it took 45 days to reach the first 100 cases and then merely one week to reach more than triple (393). In the US it went to 25,000 from 350 in just 15 days, while in juts only one week it engulfed almost the whole of Europe.
The message is very clear from the other nations- once it starts spreading and takes the form of community transmission, it cannot be controlled at all in our country. The failure of Italy, Germany, the US, France, the UK, China so-called the most advanced and crowned to have the best health care facilities in the world is the biggest example before us to believe so. Our health care facilities do not stand anywhere before these the most affected nation.
Now the question is, what is the option left with we Indians? The solution is very simple, seeing the nature of spreading of this virus, having physical distancing and regular hand washing with soap or sanitizer is the only and only solution to combat over it.
Today we have demonstrated our willingness and participation with wholeheartedly to unitedly fight against this virus. Our battel has started today, and its consequence will solely depend on our sincere participation in nation movement against this virus. So, let’s pledge and adopt the mantra of HUM SURAKSHIT, JAG SURAKSHIT.

Jai Hind Jai Bharat
